THE ALL BLACKS & COAL PIT IN ITALY
Coal Pit Wine was selected for a televised "Cooking with the All Blacks Evening” during the All Blacks week in Milan. Five All Blacks headed five teams to cook a course each for 140 guests. Coal Pit will then be sampled at a major tasting of New Zealand wines on 12 November in Milan in front of 90 Sommeliers from the Lombardy region.
NEW RELEASES
We have recently released a limited amount of the Coal Pit Rosé 2009.
This Rosé is made exclusively from estate grown Pinot Noir, demonstrating the delicate floral and fruit flavours typical of this vineyard.
Specially selected Pinot Noir vines were hand harvested and treated in the vineyard in every manner similar to our Pinot Noir. A challenging season in many aspects but we were able to harvest the fruit at the ideal levels of acidity with cool nights allowing for the retention of bright upfront fruit aromatics.
The Coal Pit Rosé 2009 is available via our website or email us for your local stockist.
