Coal Pit Sauvignon Blanc 2008

The Coal Pit Sauvignon Blanc 2008 is sourced entirely from the estate vineyard.  The site produces wines with distinctive and original flavour profiles characteristic of the Gibbston Valley.  This wine begins with a classic Sauvignon profile of gooseberry and flowering current.  The mid palate is mouth filling and richly textured, with a citrus and tropical fruit spectrum.  The finish has minerality and persistence.
